About Nathan Hinks

Nathan Hinks is a nutrition strategist, strength-training coach, former magazine editor and natural bodybuilding champion with more than 20 years of experience in fitness and sports nutrition.

His background includes coaching, supplement research and development, product formulation and educational content. He also served as an editor for two bodybuilding magazines, working with athletes, coaches and researchers to turn complex training and nutrition concepts into practical guidance people could actually use.

His experience as both a coach and competitive athlete shaped his approach to nutrition. Rather than relying on rigid rules or one-size-fits-all plans, Nathan focuses on structure, consistency and understanding how to adjust a plan when progress slows.

He is also the founder of Diet Maker, a meal-planning app designed to help people plan their calories and macros with greater clarity and confidence. His work today focuses on helping people better understand nutrition, build practical plans and make informed adjustments over time.
