Crispy Tortilla Pizza Recipe

A quick, crispy, single-serving pizza made on a flour tortilla with melty mozzarella, tangy marinara and savory turkey salami – ready in minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 regular flour tortilla, 7-8", ready-to-bake/-fry, refrigerated
  • ¼ cup pasta sauce, marinara or spaghetti-style,ready-to-serve
  • ¾ cup mozzarella cheese, low-moisture, part-skim, shredded
  • 30 g salami, Italian, pork
  • 1 tsp dried oregano, ground

Equipment

  • 1 Baking sheet
  • 1 spatula
  • 1 Knife

Method
 

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. 2. Place tortilla on a baking sheet and bake for 2-3 minutesto crisp the base slightly.
  3. 3. Remove from oven and spread marinara sauceevenly over the tortilla.
  4. 4. Top with shredded mozzarella and distribute turkey salamipieces across the surface.
  5. 5. Sprinkle oregano over the top.
  6. 6. Return to oven and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until cheeseis melted and edges are golden.
  7. 7. Optional: Broil for 1 minute at the end for extra crispiness.
